Below you’ll find a list of our most frequently asked questions and queries that we have answered to the best of our ability. All our rooms are on the first floor. Public areas are disability friendly.
Bar
Opening Times – 4pm to close.
Cancellation Policy
We do hope you will come and stay with us but if you need to cancel then you can do so at any time up to 2 days before your arrival date, at no cost.
Check in / Check out
Check in from 4pm to 10pm.
Check-out is by 10.00am.
Children
Children are very welcome to the Ord Arms Hotel; however licensing laws dictate that children cannot be in the bar area after 9pm.
Damage to Hotel Property / Loss of keys
If you or any guest staying in a room booked under your name causes damage to hotel property or lose a hotel key then these charges will be applied to your debit / credit card before departure.
Guest Entry
We want all of our guests to have a relaxed and enjoyable stay at the Ord Arms Hotel and with that in mind, we reserve the right to refuse entry to any guest who behaves in an inappropriate manner. This extends to a guest or guests being under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, abusive behaviour towards hotel staff or other guests, aggression, or unacceptable dress. For the safety of all of those staying with us we may ask guests behaving in this manner to leave the hotel if a disturbance is caused. Should we reject a guest on these grounds refunds will not be given.
Is my stuff safe?
Rooms are generally safe just follow normal safety procedures when out of rooms.
Loss / Damage
The Ord Arms Hotel is not liable for the loss or damage of any guest property during their stay caused by the misconduct or negligence or a guest or an act of GOD, the establishment is not responsible for guest belongings, liable or responsible for any damage to guest vehicles whilst staying with us.
Parking
Free parking is available on site. Disabled parking space available.
Pets
Are not allowed in rooms; however, well behaved dogs are allowed in the bar area only when using the beer garden. For health and safety purposes, dog owners must remove and dispose of any dog litter.
Reserving a Hotel Room
Our official website is the only booking platform where best rates are guaranteed. Should you find that your preferred dates are not available through our online system, please phone the hotel to access real-time availability. We accept all major debit and credit cards.
Smoking
Smoking is banned from premises. Smoking in rooms will result in a £100 fine.
