Following a successful purchase of the hotel in May 2024, we have embarked on a major improvement programme for the hotel. We wanted to ensure the Ord Arms offers real value for the local community and where possible, we use local produce and suppliers to ensure an exacting high quality, as well as exceptional pricing offers.

Our mission is simple, to create a warm highland welcome for both locals and tourists, and to strive to become the best 2 star Highland hotel for our customers.

We have refurbished the Restaurant and launched a new menu, built a cozy and welcoming coffee & Tea Lounge, opened a new cocktail Bar, and begun a refit & Refurbishment of all public areas, and the bedrooms to ensure we provide comfort & Value.

include the beaches of Rosemarkie and Fortrose where, depending on the time of day, you just might catch sight of the dolphins at Chanonry Point.

We are Stuart & Deborah, and as new owners we are delighted to extend a warm, highland welcome to all our guests. We have a mission to deliver a great experience at great value.
Extensive work is underway throughout the hotel, and later in the summer we will open “G & Teas” offering a cosy welcome throughout the week for teas and coffees, and hand made cocktails in the evenings.

Whilst we improve all areas of the hotel we will continue to hold our prices back and will ensure we do everything we possibly can do to ensure you have an enjoyable stay.
We are offering our breakfast menu to all between 7am-9am so you can get your day off to a fine start. (8am – 10am Saturday & sunday).

 Verified Well worth a visit now it’s been taken over. Thursday lunchtime with friend. First visit under since new owners have taken over. Freshly decorated, clean and with a real flair for style. Accommodated without prior reservation and sat in main dining room. Lovely friendly waitress, who was very efficient and warm in her service. We both had two courses and the food was truly lovely. Delightfully surprised at the level of both service and food and we shall definitely be back very soon.

 Verified Lunchtime visit Staying a few nights in Beauly with a friend and we went along for a few drinks and lunch.what a gem of a place. Food was fantastic and staff were friendly and attentive.  Verified Great stay at The Ord Arms. Ourselves and friends spent a couple of nights at The Ord Arms at the start of our North Coast 500 tour. We had a great couple of days there, the rooms were very cosy and comfortable and the food was absolutely amazing. The staff were very friendly and welcoming with great local knowledge.  Verified Hidden Gem and value for money We went to the Ord Arms tonight to enjoy a meal for Mother’s Day. They were serving their Mother’s Day menu all weekend which is a bonus to those of us who can’t attend on the day itself! The service from Lorraine was top notch and the food was outstanding. The Thai fish cakes were mouth wateringly good. Our party had the flat iron steak with the best garlic crushed potatoes we’ve ever had. The fish was ginormous and the batter was light and crispy. The mac n cheese was creamy and cheesy and one of the best we’ve had in the area. We had the best ever Pornstar martini from the cocktail bar courtesy of Aukje. Portions sizes were on point and we had no room for pudding! When the bill came we were surprised it wasn’t higher. We would highly recommend dining here it’s delicious and a gem of a place.  Verified Great food, great staff Friends went for the over 60's lunch then to the cafe bar for coffee and cake. Service was friendly, informative and so pleasant. Surroundings were tastefully decorated with a lovely fire having been set. Local artist had picture for sale on the walls. It stared small portions however I must say it was more than that! Starter of haggis pakora, salad and dressing was fresh and tasty. Main course fresh fish, chips and peas. Both were an absolute credit to the chef. We then went for coffee and cake...omg...indulgence..yum.. I'm still buzzing from the sugar rush! Lovely seating, clean place, clean loos. All in all a great place to go for food, pleasant chatty attentive staff, great chef and we will be back. Thankyou Ord Arms!

 Verified Great afternoon Spent an afternoon and evening watching rugby in the public bar. Very reasonably priced drinks, comfy chairs, great fish and chips, nice coffees and topped it off with a couple of sensibly priced malt whiskies.  Verified Simply great. Fantastic to have a local gem like this! Restaurant and cafe were simply great. Thank you. Good coffee, even has their own house-blend! Lovely teas including specialty flower teas! Relaxed environment. Friendly efficient staff. Good restaurant menu. Fish and chips were the best!  Verified Wednesday Club Treat The atmosphere in the restaurant was nice and relaxing and the food was lovely. I started with the days soup and it was very nice, hot and tasty, my wife had the halloumi fries which she really liked. For mains we both had fish and chips. Both were very nice, again very hot and tasty. At a push I would say my wife had the bigger portion of fish, I’ll have to bear that in mind next time. We shared a dessert; it was the Chocolate Delice which was like a very thick mousse with a biscuit base which came with ice cream. My wife loved it, and she likes her chocolate and is very hard to please when it comes to restaurants and chocolate mousse.

 Verified Enjoyable Highland banter with food to match First time visit after new owners taken over and I must say it won’t be the last!! Visited with my hubby and mum for evening meal arrived slightly early but we were able to have a drinks at our table while we waited for the restaurant to open. The service and banter was top class🤩 and enjoyable and the the food matched the banter ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️..2 of us had from the Wednesday “special” ( over 60s menu ) which was plentiful and tasteful hubby enjoyed a special burger from the main meal. Pudding if apple pie and custard and chocolate dulice were AMAZING.😋😋 If you’re in the area or just passing by don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy the fabby service and top notch h food. #foodfantasticfood

 Verified Service above and beyond I called in with a friend who is disabled and in a wheelchair. I asked if the had wheelchair access. They said they have a ramp. Not only did Carol set up the ramp she also pushed my friend into the dining room. I had a broken arm so unable to push him myself. The food was superb as was the service. Lorraine was our hostess. She was very attentive and pleasant. I thoroughly recommend the Ord Arms to all. At the end of our meal my friend was taken by staff to his car. The even put his wheelchair in the boot for us. Many thanks again for amazing service and superb food.
